Architect-Designed New Build
Vivid’s structural design for a double-storey dwelling includes extensive excavation, retained by Dincel and boundary piling walls, with integrated drainage and temporary protection. Key elements include a Bondek slab, steel portal framing, and timber framing.
Architect-Designed Passive House
Vivid Engineers designed structural elements including protection works tailored for passive house considerations, deepened foundations, steel portal framing, balustrade and stair detailing, roof outriggers, joinery, timber framing, and bracing.
Industrial Warehouse
Vivid’s structural elements include concrete footings, steel framing for a 3,000 sq.m warehouse, an office building, and retaining walls. The design also covers drainage works, including stormwater detention, treatment, management, and car park design.

Industrial Complex
Vivid designed pavement remediation, new pavements, and drainage, including stormwater conveyance and treatment into the Melbourne Water asset (Kayes Drain) across the 2ha site.
The Paddock - Eco Village
Vivid designed structures for 26 apartments and civil works for street widening, including the Ring Road intersection, parking, and stormwater systems. Our services covered structural elements, drainage, and pavement for roads and parking areas.
Powercor Substation
Vivid provided comprehensive access road and drainage design for the Powercor site in Altona, including the design of steel fencing to enhance site functionality and security.
FORENSIC ENGINEERING
Earthquake Remediation
Vivid provided propping design and remediation plans for damaged walls, parapets, awnings, and roof structures. The project included structural strengthening, modelling, and reinforcement to meet seismic code requirements.
Fire Damage
Vivid provided Make Safe measures and developed a comprehensive remediation design for the existing steel-framed masonry warehouse, ensuring structural integrity and safety.
Water/Flood Remediation
After the Lismore Flood Disaster (Feb 2022), Vivid assessed damage, developed repair scopes, and designed remediation for NSW Public Works. Our work included strengthening, propping, new foundations, and timber and steel framing to restore safety and habitability.
